Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports, as part of Kosovo’s Government focuses its strategic efforts in supportingand encouraging the cultural activities and events, preservation, protection and presentation of the cultural heritage in Kosovo, encouraging and strengthening cultural, youth and sports values in national and international level, development of institutional capacities; increase of cultural heritage budget, youth and sports in a proper extent.

KFOS

The Kosovo Foundation for Open Society is a local non-governmental organisation and part of the international network of philanthropic foundations financed by George Soros. The Foundation works with government and civil society to strengthen capacities, improve implementation of existing policies and develop new strategic directions. It does so both through developing and implementing its own projects, and by supporting Kosovar organisations that require both financial and operational assistance.

Royal Embassy of Norway

The Embassy is Norway’s official diplomatic representation to the Republic of Kosovo and the Republic of Albania. The Embassy was opened in October 2008 and currently has a team of four Norwegian diplomats, led by Ambassador Jan Braathu, and five local staff members. Besides serving as Norway’s political representation to Kosovo, the Embassy also offers various consular services and is the local contact point for Norway’s development assistance to Kosovo. The Embassy also provides grants to small-scale development initiatives.
